Nose bleeds: Direct pressure and an ice pack will help. Controlling blood pressure better (to less than 140/90) will help. Also, you may have to stop aspirin or other blood thinners, but talk to your cardiologist first if you have hear disease. Afrin nasal spray can help stop nose bleeds, and can be bought over the counter. Be careful the afrin doesnt worsen your blood pressure. Use 1-2 days only. See a doctor
