Yes: Anuses are not designed to tolerate the physical trauma and friction damage that anal sex causes... tissue damage occurs. Best to use the middle hole (the vagina). Also, there are billions of bacteria coming down into the anal-rectal area all day long... such as E. coli, Klebsiella, and all sorts of other species.
