Breath is: our most important nutrient. Please see your doctor to make sure you do not have any medical conditions that contraindicate breathing exercises. If OK, remember that yawning and gasping is the way we take in extra air. Anxiety is understandable when deal w/a process as critical as breathing. Make changes under medical guidance.
