Problem: Your own dentist will be able to diagnose the problem and suggest treatment options. Teeth can decay and fillings can break over time even if the tooth has been fine for years.

Speak with DDS: The question is unclear? Did the dentist take care of your issues? Variables include, possible fracture, decay or periodontal disease- check with the dentist to see if any of these factors is what is causing you pain.

And "Doct" said?: What did the Doctor Say? Hopefully it was a Dentist, not a Physician or a Chiropractor or an Optometrist. Teeth with large old fillings sometimes fracture, or the filling may begin to leak and there could be recurrent decay, or other reasons. Work with your Dentist to determine cause and appropriate treatment.
