is it normal to have some popping in knee joints when getting back to being active after being bedridden for 2-3 months?

Crepitus: Crepitus is a normal variation & refers to popping sounds whether from knees, knuckles, etc. As long as it's painfree, there's nothing to worry about. However, it's the pain (with or without noise) that needs to be evaluated.

No relationship: between masturbation and joint pain...none. The popping and crackling are simply air bubbles in your joint fluids
