No: You may clean your carpets for other reasons, but not because you have or had athletes foot. The athlete foot fungus is in the air and ubiquitous. For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. Practice safe sex.

Clean carpets: It's always good to always clean the carpets with and without athletes feet. There are many excellent treatments for athletes feet and of course, keeping sanitary measures can only help!
