Interesting: complaint (borborygmus). Your stomach and esophagus are right in this location. If you have a hiatus hernia or have ever had an injury to your diaphragm, you could have fluid from the stomach in this area that is causing both symptoms. You should be seen and have an x-ray if you really are getting short of breath and not just worried. Bowel also can rarely be felt/heard this high. Good luck!
