Hi, i have just had my tsh measured at 6.55. what does this mean?

6.55: It is a little high but should be OK if the thyroid gland levels are OK. If the thyroid levels (not TSH) are a bit low adding small doses to Thyroxine should be OK and safe. Please keep me informed.
