Maybe/not: All babies reflux, some reaching a problem status.It is age & position related.There is no valve blocking back flow (reflux).The stomach entrance is a bend in a tube that opens frequently to allow mouth mucous/food in. Gravity helps hold food down but it can come up any time the stomach squeezes to process the meal.Laying flat increases reflux. It peaks about 4m & starts to improve with sitting.
