Not normal: Pap smear not associated with vaginal bleeding. If exam of cervix showed irritation there is always possibility of in-situ lesion of cervix but bx needed for dx. Blleeding if not obvious on cervical exam suggests origin from endometrium. Sonogram of uterus to see lining and possible bx of endometrium to see if that is site of blood.
