A member asked:

Is 100.5 fever a sign of hiv

A doctor has provided 1 answer

"No": People with HIV infection have fevers of 100.5. People without HIV infection have fevers of 100.5. Every person on planet Earth has had or will have a fever of 100.5 regardless of his or her HIV status, because getting a fever of 100.5 at some time is a normal life event. That is why fever is both not a sign of HIV and also not a sign of not having HIV.
