My 95 y/o grandmother had abdominal ultrasound. there were black spots on the liver & kidneys that the radiographer took time with. what's this mean?

Impossible to: say with limited info. "Black spots" could mean anything from liver/kidney cysts(usually of no concern) to more serious abnormalities. Statistically, benign cysts are most common, but you need to talk to your doc about the results, or, if you have the images on a disc and can upload them, you can get a HealthTap consult.
