Probably not.: A pregnancy test is important after a delayed or abnormal menses. A delayed ovulation or pregnancy that didn't implant and/or another type of abnormal pregnancy could cause abnormal bleeding. On occasion a normal pregnancy can have bleeding in the beginning.
