Period 4 days late. brown discharge for 3 days and light pink spotting on 4th day. took a pregnancy test and it said negative. could i be pregnant?

Maybe in 3-5 days: Home pregnancy tests are easy to do, fast, and highly accurate, but not 100%. Maybe it is a tad bit early at this time. I would suggest repeating in 3-5 days to make sure. If you are pregnant, there is a very good chance that the hpt will show postive after 5-7 days of missing your regular period. You are 4 days late, but this may just be a later than usual--it happens. Consult doc. Good luck.
