Stay with neurology: Please don't change any of the medications your mother is on and use alternative therapies on your own. You can have a second neurologist opinion, it's your right, but don't stop prescribed medicines till you do so. Anticonvulsants are many, Epilepsy is a science by itself, so stay with experts please, wish yourself and your mother wellness
