What is causing patella subluxation? i have surgery 5 weeks ago and was just walking and my knee popped and shifted to the left i can't straighten?

I don't know what-: -shifting to the left means, but patellar subluxation is due to mal-alignment either muscular, boney or both. You did not tell us what surgery you had. A little more in the way of specifics will help you get an answer.
