Not a usual side ef: This is not a usual side effect of Depakote. It may be coming from something else.

Uncommon: Was the diagnosis of pain made by your physician? These are unlikely to be caused by valproic acid, particularly since the drug can be used in some circumstances to treat pain. Would speak to your prescribing physician about this and determine if this is the true cause of your pain, or if there are other things in your history which would be causing your symptoms.
