Shouldn't happen: If the nose bleed the area should be compressed for 2 minutes straight and will stop bleeding (compressing with no stopping to check though).

Nose Bleeds: If a nose does not stop bleeding you must get the patient to the er or to the local ear nose and throat specialist. They may need to use medication or surgery to get the nose bleeding to stop.
