A member asked:

Why are flagyl and cipro (ciprofloxacin) taken together? any problem just taking flagyl without cipro (ciprofloxacin)?

Take both of them: There are several infections that might require treatment with both drugs, and taking only one of them could be dangerous. Your doctor wouldn't have prescribed both of them without good reason. Follow his or her advice. If you need more information about the reasons, contact the doctor's office.
