See your doctor: My suggestion is you go back to your doctor and be very frank about your concerns around having cancer. Sometimes doctors don't pick up what the real concern is. Even if the doctor thinks it is unlikely, knowing your concern will help them order the tests you need to hopefully reassure you.

Rare for cancer-18: In teen age years the cancers that are usually found are those associated with congenital mutations such as with polyposis of bowel or breast cancer. There are few other tumors to be looked for so that any study should be directed toward the symptoms present. At this time a PET/CAT if indicated with define the area of involvement should that exist.
