Nothing specific: Your doc is being thorough.Today these exams are a common way to assess the health of your ovaries, tubes and uterus that years ago would have required an agressave and uncomfortable manual pelvic exam.The results are more accurate and rule out problems. The thyroid study is a common screening test at your age. It would be good for you to write down a list of any questions to take to any exam.
