Yes.: I'm sorry you had that experience. Why do you think there is (or was a tear) in your cervix? The cervix is part of the uterus muscle. It is fairly thick and high in your vagina. Cervical trauma, like a tear, can happen, but it's not common. It could happen during sexual assault. If you think it's healed, physically, your cervix should be fine.

Yes, it is very possible to have scars from abuse that happened to you as a child. Your gynecologist should be made aware of this so that your exam can be done under the best and safest of environments. You may want to include a therapist in this process.
