Blackhead (comedo): Your description fits that of a "blackhead" which forms when a hair follicle (pore) in your skin becomes clogged/plugged. Each follicle contains one hair and a sebaceous gland that produces oil (sebum). Dead skin cells and oils collect in the opening to the skin follicle, producing a bump called a comedone. Gentle manual extraction best method for removal preferably done by MD to avoid infection.
