Relief for hand arthritis.

Tylenol (acetaminophen): In a 75 year old it is important to know medical history, other meds, previous meds tried, kidney function and other variables before suggesting meds. Tylenol (acetaminophen) would be the safest bet.

Hand Arthritis: Arthritis does not have a true prevention as of yet, but there are many treatments that are very effective. First you should be evaluated by a hand surgeon, a doctor who specializes in the hand and wrist, both operatively and non-operatively. Specific treatments, such as pills, splints, teaching, exercises, injections, and surgery would be fully discussed after the diagnosis is made.
