A member asked:

I haven't had sex in over a year, but recently i've noticed a clear discharge at the tip of my penis. please help. is this normal?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

See below : If not sexually active in over a year, then quite unlikely to have an STD-related urethritis (usually GC or chlamydia). Most common cause of your clear discharge is prostate congestion with an overflow of normal prostate fluid. Usually painless, often associated with sexual inactivity, and sometimes noted during/after a bowel movement which exerts pressure on the prostate. Can see MD to verify.
