What is the treatment for a 7mm slap 2 tear on posterior aspect of superior labrum along with fraying?

A doctor has provided 1 answer
Dr. Edward Hellman answered

Specializes in Orthopedic Surgery

Surgery : Surgery is a consideration. A "slap" tear is a tear of the labrum, which is the cartilage "cup" that helps hold the humerus in the glenoid and can be repaired arthroscopically. I would discuss options directly with your orthopedic surgeon.
