What is the likelihood of contracting rabies from water? not from drinking but from cleaning a 50 gallon fountain a raccoon was found dead in....

0%: Fortunately, there is no chance of developing rabies from what you describe. I'm glad you didn't drink the water, and I'm sure your community appreciates you cleaning that fountain.

So, so, so , so low: The rabies virus dies quite quickly in water. There are rare cases where humans have become infected from drinking water at the same time as a nearby infected raccoon, or just after a raccoon left. You should be safe.
