What age can my baby have peanutbutter?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

9 months(ish): There are no hard and fast rules regarding this, and i think there is quite a bit of variability out there with regard to pediatrician's advice. Peanut butter can be a choking hazard, so don't give a large glob. Spread it thinly on something. For someone with a very strong family history of peanut allergies, the first couple of times i would give a bit at home with Benadryl (diphenhydramine) at the ready.
