Severe sunburn.: You have a 2nd degree sunburn, which is a traumatic injury to your body. Skin is your largest organ, so a sunburn releases a large amount of "injury molecules" (prostaglandins and cytokines) into your blood stream. This causes symptoms of nausea. Sun exposure causes significant dehydration. You should drink plenty of water and see a doctor to evaluate extent of your injury.
