Below: It is possible that this is a normal occurrence, but I would suggest calling the DR and informing them of your concerns, A Recheck in the office is the best suggestion.

6 months post op: At 6 months post op you should be fully recovered from your c section. if you are experiencing abdominal pain then this should be evaluated by your doctor. It is not clear what is meant by your abdomen being hard or firm. A doctor should do an exam to better understand what you are referring to.

Not related : Stomach size would not be related to childbirth almost a year ago. You and your doctor could evaluate your weight, post partum weight loss, uterine size, intestinal function and the many other causes of a large stomach.

Post C-sxn Weight: First, do not start any rigorous activity until you are released at 6wks postop. Tissue needs time to heal before you strain it. Natural calorie burners such as breast feeding your baby would be of benefit at this stage. You can do some light walking, and initiate healthy eating now, and after released at 6 wks, begin an exercise regimen that strengthens your core.

Depends: It really depends. It cAn be normal, or it could be very abnormal. Check around the incision site to see if there is any drainage, or tenderness. If there is, you should call you OB doctor and have it checked out. Good luck!
