MRI alone: probably not sufficient to exclude gallbladder abnormalities. Ultrasound could detect tiny stones, polyps, or subtle wall abnormalities that might not be seen on MRI/MRCP. Also, MRI won't detect functional abnormalities, such as if the gallbladder is not contracting properly. For that, HIDA scan with CCK stimulation is the test. Talk to your doc about next steps.
