Weight Loss in UTI: UTI shouldn't in and of itself cause weight loss, especially if there is no loss of appetite or vomiting. Complications of UTI include the infection can spread to the kidneys, or to the blood, both of which are serious complications. Do follow the treatment plan prescribed by your doctor. The weight loss is likely a separate issue which your doctor can evaluate.
