NOT 4 internal use!: "mythbusters" suggested chemicals responsible r gum arabic & gelatine in the sweets, & caffeine, potassium benzoate (& aspartame in diet coke. What they found out : surface of the mint mentos is littered with many small holes, allowing co2 bubbles to form very rapidly & in great quantity, in turn causing the jet of foam. Same would happen w/ thumsup. If internally could cause aspiration/ drowning.
