Ibu plus acetamin: One can make use of alternating Tylenol (acetaminophen) with Motrin ,to Rx pain in OA . The important point to be aware of is the max. amount of daily use of either. Ie 2400mg of Motrin and 4000mg of Tylenol (acetaminophen) which is is felt to be safe.
