A member asked:

I don't think i have a yeast infection anymore they said it was asymptomatic 2 weeks ago, can i receive oral sex or will my partner get oral thrush?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Thrush: Candida, the yeast which causes thrush, is always present in both the mouth and vagina normally. Thrush only occurs when the yeast overgrow. This can be triggered by antibiotic use, use of oral or inhaled steroids, or by immune suppression. If your symptoms are resolved, then you should be OK to resume regular activities.
