Why does lamectal cause muscle pain?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

?lamictal: Lamictal or lamotrigine is a very valuable drug for epilepsy and psychiatric applications, and typically has rather few adverse effects other than an occasional risk of a severe skin reaction in sensitive folks. It would be very unusual that Lamictal would promote muscle pain. Look for another cause.
