Yes : Fluid retention ( peripheral edema) has been reported in greater than 2% but less than 5% of adult who take Lamictal ( particularly the immediate- release product). In addition facial edema has also been reported in 2% of children on immediate-release lamicatl (lamotrigine). Please discuss these problems with your doctor, ( particularly patients with congestive heart failure).
