Likely normal: Color changes (especially to purple) usually means engorgement with blood. AKA - hemorrhoids. This is OK as long as you don't have symptoms of of pain outer bleeding with BMs. Always worth showing to your primary or to a gastroenterologist or Colorectal surgeon to be sure.
