Likely OK.: It may have been a cold night and/or you're not used to watering grass or gripping something like a hose. It's doesn't seem like a problem, but if it does get worse, see your doctor.

Finger numbness : You may have been resting the hose on a digital nerve and caused it to go to sleep. If that see the case i'd expect the symptoms to continue to resolve. . You may also have carpal tunnel syndrome.
