Seek help: If a person believes they have been sexually assaulted, they may have physical symptoms directly due to the assault itself, including pain in the area of penetration (if this happened). Behaviorally there could be a feeling of shame and fear due to the sense of having lost control. It's always best to seek help from your physician if you are not sure. Seek help right after it happens.
