Progesterone can: reduce the number and size of developing ovarian cysts but will not stimulate ovulation. There are medications that WILL stimulate ovulation but it's complicated! Please talk with your doctor about interventions that can increase the chance of ovulation, conception and pregnancy. Best wishes. Dr. Anne.
