There's a math to it: When you are looking for a rare occurance, either 1/2 the occurrence rate or when you know there is something wrong. Things go wrong proportional to age and lifestyle. Young, healthy, female, GYN visits for pap smear about yearly. BP/heart/lung/kidney etc break down under 1/1000/year so....not on. BUT, if the curve has a kink from a new event/risk/sign soon after that.
