Somewhat likely : A Jones Fracture of the 5th metatarsal of your foot will frequently show up on x-Ray but not always. If your provider finds that you are tender over the 5th metatarsal but nothing shows up on x-Ray, an MRI can be ordered to look at the bone in more detail to find a subtle stress fracture or stress reaction (beginnings of a stress fracture).
