Finish it all: Finish it all. It's wiser to over-treat than take a chance of under-treating BV. However, metronidazole (Flagyl) gel is not usually the best treatment. If it works, that's great. But if your odor, discharge or other symptoms continue or return after treatment, speak with your doctor about oral treatment. Good luck.
