A member asked:

How can a person tell if their partner has hsv if no symptoms is apparent & no lesions or sores showing? any particular signs to pay attention to?thnx

Testing: If no lesions are present, the only way to know if the partner has hsv would be to do a blood test hsv 1 and 2 antibodies. If those are positive it indicates prior infection, of which hsv 2 is known to be chronic.
