Muscular strain: Constant dull pain after doing heavy lifting means that you strained a muscle. It can take a week or 10 days for the muscle to heal up, longer if you aren't fit at baseline. Try using a heating pad 20 min 3x/day on the sore area. Rest. Drink plenty of water. If you get leg weakness, numbness or trouble urinating, go see a doctor. Consider some ibuprofen 600 mg every 6 hrs if you don't have high BP
