Adipex is contra-: ...indicated during pregnancy. If you're of child-bearing age and having sex, you must stay on the Nexplanon. We don't recommend using Adipex for more than 12 weeks b/c it's potentially addictive. You should let the prescriber know if you have high blood pressure and you should abstain from alcohol while taking Adipex. Hope this was helpful. Dr. Anne
