Lots: Infected teeth and/or gums, joint dysfunction, clenching or grinding, muscle imbalance, and so many other problems. See your Dentist.

Many things: The pain could be from the jaw itself and the tendons. It could be from a tooth. See your doctor first. If jaw normal see the dentist
