A member asked:

I haven't had a runny nose in a long time, and my nose is usually congested at least a little bit. can mouth breathing (from my anxiety) do this?

Dr. John Chiu answered

No: It would be the other way around- the congested nose causes the mouth-breathing. Try nasal steroid. If not effective, consider seeing an allergist.
