Nizoral (ketoconazole) shampoo: you can use Nizoral (ketoconazole) shampoo 2% twice a week for 2weeks. followed by selsun shampoo. You may need prescription from your PCP

Will stain: Several dandruff shampoos are useful. Besides tar you can get selenium sulfide, ketoconazole, salicylic acid, and zinc pyrithione shampoos. The generics are just as good but cost less. You will see selsun, nizoral, head & shoulders, T-Sal, DHS, etc. You can use in a daily shower and wash ears & face while you are at it.
